With a hitherto unpublished two-piano transcription of a Bach trio sonata as their point of departure, Cristina Casale and Emmanuel Ferrer-Laloë take us on a journey through the timeline of musical history and present some of the most outstanding works ever written for two pianos. They pay a visit to Classicism in a Mozart sonata, and get involved in Post-Romanticism with Rachmaninov’s Suite No. 2. Moving onward from there, Casale & Ferrer offer a rendition of Richard Rodney Bennett’s “Four Piece Suite”, influenced by more popular styles such as samba, blues, ragtime, and rock.

From Bach to rock: with two pianos they run the gamut from the most transcendent music to the most popular roots, without ever sacrificing anything in terms of artistic compositional quality.
